With twenty-five years of experience in the Clerk’s office, including twelve years as Clerk of Superior Court, she needs your votes to continue serving the people of Henry County.

Barbara is familiar with all areas of the Henry County court system and responsibilities of the Clerk’s office. Some of these duties include:
- accounting for all funds paid into the registries of the court,
- filling, storing, and retrieving civil and criminal court records,
- managing court records and attendance during court proceedings, and
- maintaining accessible real and personal property indexes.
Years of Experience
Barbara has 25 years of experience in the Clerk’s office, including twelve years as Clerk of Superior Court. She trained under two previous Clerks of the Court, learning how to fulfill every aspect of the Clerk’s responsibilities, and served as Chief Deputy Clerk from 2003 to 2008.
Barbara is a 42-year resident of Henry County and Georgia native. She and her husband, John, have been happily married for 45 years and have three children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. They are members of Peoples Baptist Church in McDonough.
